Goals
The goal of the conference is to provide a forum for Black men to develop life skill strategies in a non-threatening environment to enhance their lives to better understand themselves and their community.
1. Develop leadership and pro-active decision-making skills.
2. Empower Black men to develop a sense of community with other Black same gender
loving men.
3. Commit to offer volunteer service to the Ujima Men's Collective or some
Community Based Organization in their area.
Objectives
To recruit Black same gender loving men to participate in a forum that will enlighten and encourage them about the effects of HIV/AIDS infection and the ravages the disease can have on the body of an infected individual. In addition to understanding other aspects of being Black men in America and dealing with those stresses as well.
To increase the involvement. leadership, advocacy and support of Black same gender loving men in cultivating a better community for us. We will illustrate the value of Black same gender loving men participating in civic and social activities which can strengthen our community.
To provide workshops, round tables, presentations, speeches and other activities that will empower Black same gender loving men in the developing strategies to address issues around substance abuse, domestic violence , spirituality, racism, homophobia STD's, HIV/AIDS and how Black same gender loving men are impacted by these factors.
To provide workshops, presentations and other activities that will empower Black same gender loving to strive to develop strategies to increase knowledge through our learning tracks: Advocacy, Leadership, Health & Wellness, Spirituality and Relationships.

germane to Black men in all populations.
